As tall as a 20 storey building and just under 300 metres long, Costa Atlantica has a surface area 20 times the size of the Olympic stadium in Rome. And just as impressive is the attention to detail throughout the ship. The names of the decks are inspired by the Italian film director Federico Fellini, with tributes to his art: from the entertaining “Dolce Vita” photos to the original sketches of the film by artist Milo Manara. On board the Atlantica cruise is the Caffè Florian,a faithful reproduction of the famous café in St Mark’s Square in Venice. The Club Restaurant is particularly stunning, located in the highest part of the ship, under the glass ceiling with a view up to the sky, and connected to the lower deck by a glass staircase.

Dress
Code Onboard
The atmosphere on board Costa cruises is informal and relaxed, so dress as you wish. Just bring something more elegant for the gala evening. Pack sports and light clothing, comfortable shoes and, of course, your swimsuit. The temperature difference between air-conditioned rooms and the outside can be significant so don’t forget to bring a pullover. For cruises in northern Europe leisure clothes are advisable, as well as comfortable, waterproof shoes, woolen sweaters and an oilskin jacket.
