Island Cruises first cruise ship, the Island Escape, is a whole resort of attractions afloat. She joined Island Cruises in the Spring of 2002 from her former owners Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. When she came across the Atlantic she brought with her the uniquely friendly atmosphere that makes an Island Cruise such a special experience. Onboard the Island Escape, there is no standing on ceremony, no dress code and no set times for dinner. In short what you see is what you get a relaxed, friendly and informal holiday experience. With no set times for meals and no formal dress code, you can sit down for breakfast, lunch and dinner as and when you want to and with whom you like. With a wealth of superb restaurants all tastes and appetites are bound to be satisfied. Plan your days and nights to perfection with a huge variety of entertainment to suit all tastes, and a holiday is as much for the children as for their parents and with our array of activities there is plenty to keep kids entertained and adults relaxed.

Dress
Code Onboard
Simply pack for your cruise as you would for any holiday in a good, but informal hotel. For on board bring casual summer clothes for the day and smart casual for evenings. Gentlemen are requested to wear long trousers in some of the restaurants. Some warm clothing may be needed for evenings on deck. Soft shoes or flip-flops would also be useful as the decks may be slippery! For ashore, comfortable shoes for walking and clothes that cover shoulders and knees for shore excursions to places of worship.
