Island Cruises flagship, the Island Star, first welcomed British guests onboard in spring 2006. The Island Star is perfectly equipped to offer our unique brand of relaxed and informal cruising in a stylish comfort. The first thing you will notice about the Island Star is the space. With broad decks, double-height public areas and roomy cabins you can always find a place to relax and enjoy your surroundings. Yes, you will enjoy excellent facilities and great sights, but it is the sense of freedom that will really stand out from your Island Cruises experience. A cruise should be about leaving the world of timetables where it belongs. Here you will find entertainment, activities and dining, just when you want them. Time, and how you spend it, is yours to play with as you like. You can sit and relax over a cool drink, join in the fun when you want to or just stretch out on the sun deck and enjoy a thrilling new view each morning. Island Cruises offer an unforgettable experience, one where you set the pace of life and do exactly as you please.

Simply pack for your cruise as you would for any holiday in a good, but informal hotel. For on board bring casual summer clothes for the day and smart casual for evenings. Gentlemen are requested to wear long trousers in some of the restaurants. Some warm clothing may be needed for evenings on deck. Soft shoes or flip-flops would also be useful as the decks may be slippery! For ashore, comfortable shoes for walking and clothes that cover shoulders and knees for shore excursions to places of worship.
