Launched in 2002 and refurbished each year since, MV Frederic Chopin carries 79 guests in 41 staterooms. She is distinguished by staterooms on her upper-deck that have full-length opening French doors (staterooms on the lower deck have large windows). Original works of art can be found throughout. All double staterooms are identical in size (there are three singles and two lower deck junior suites) and are beautifully appointed. The ship serves six meals daily (breakfast, morning bouillon, lunch, afternoon tea, dinner and late supper). All meals are single seating in a non-smoking dining room with seven-course evening meals (up to nine courses on selected nights). Additionally, there is a bar, Panorama Restaurant, and lounge and a qualified doctor on board. The Sun Deck has plenty of deck chairs and blankets, if needed. Captains Welcome and Captains Farewell Receptions are provided as well as nightly entertainment and dancing. There is one crew member for every 2.5 guests providing an excellent crew-to-guest ratio. This allows for a high level of service as well as sumptuous food, served course by course for the evening meal. Code Onboard
Comfort is the order of the day on board and on shore excursions, so you should pack casual clothing and comfortable walking shoes. For evenings, guests are asked to wear smart/casual attire. For more formal occasions, like the Captains reception and other formal evenings the recommended dress code is suits or jacket and tie for men and cocktail dresses or evening dress for ladies. The dress code will be advised in the Daily Programme.
