A warming significance of true tradition combined with innovative technology. The ample marble and overwhelmingly glistering chandeliers complimented with rich fabrics and soft furnishings exude a sense of comfort, elegance and a world of exploration. Being the newest addition to the Cunard fleet, the Queen Victoria caries forth true tradition in a modern era. In January 2008 we saw yet another proud moment in Cunard history when she joined her sister the QE2 on a remarkable tandem transatlantic crossing to meet the QM2 and have the first ever meeting of three Cunard liners, a moment celebrated with tremendous passion and emotion. At 90 000 tons the Queen Victoria offers a guest capacity of 2000 passengers, featuring a fantastic 86% outside staterooms and a massive 71% balcony staterooms presenting a supreme cruising experience. Amenities and entertainment fit for royalty are compiled of features such as the Royal Arcade where elegant uncrowded shopping experiences proceed. Inspired by London’s Burlington and Royal Arcades, one would not expect less than lavish style. Churchill’s Cigar Lounge offers gentlemen to engage in civil company and rich conversation while trying a cigar from the worldwide selection held onboard. Ladies may immerse themselves in a distinctive spa programme that redefines the modern spa experience and when night falls and the graceful eveningwear lights up the ambiance as guests make way to the extraordinary dinning rooms followed by a night of whirl and spin to the resident orchestra in the Queens Ballroom. Jump onboard the Queen Victoria and be part of tradition in an era driven by technology.
