Wind Surf is a private-yacht-like atmosphere creating camaraderie and lasting friendships between fellow sailors. Holding just 312 passengers in true luxury surroundings, each cruise is like an adventure. Choose between one of the 31 deluxe ocean-view suites onboard or a deluxe ocean view stateroom. All rooms are equipped with Closed circuit LCD flatscreen color television, DVD/CD players, personal safe, refrigerator, mini-bar, international direct-dial phones, wireless Internet, Bose SoundDock speakers, cell phone service, private bathrooms with shower, toiletries by L’Occitane, hair dryer, vanity, magnifying mirrors, Euro-Top mattresses, luxury bedding, Egyptian cotton towels, plush robes and slippers. Windstar offers an open seating program allowing guests to dine when and with whom they like. Two restaurants: The Restaurant and Degrees. The Restaurant accommodates 250 guests. Degrees seats 124 in an alternative casual setting serving a steak house menu four nights a week. Other nights feature rotating menus from Northern Italy, France and Indonesia. The menu is served on elegant Rosenthal china with Riedel stemware. A highlight on the Wind Surf is the complimentary water-skiing, windsurfing, kayaking, sailing, ski-tubing and snorkel gear. Scuba diving is available for a fee.

Dress
Code Onboard
Windstar suggest clothes that are light, cool and made of natural fabrics like cotton and silk. You may wish to bring warmer clothing (layers are best) if you are traveling on a transatlantic or an autumn Mediterranean cruise. The tone for dinner and evening aboard is one of “casual elegance.” Imaginative, yet relaxed. Stylish, yet comfortable.
For ladies, sundresses, slacks and informal evening wear are appropriate. For gentlemen, we suggest slacks and collared shirts or polos. There are no formal nights, no costume parties, no requirements for suits and ties.
