Coco Cay, or Little Stirrup Cay is one of the Berry Islands, located in the Bahamas and is popular for a range of activities. It was purchased by the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, who renamed it Coco Cay.

Coco Cay offers good weather all year round, with the hottest months being from June to August and the coldest being from December to February. The rainy period is from May to November.

Coco Cay has a beautiful beach, where you can relax or enjoy the activities, which include scuba diving, parasailing, swimming or simply sunbathing. There is also a beautiful lagoon, which is perfect for those who wish to go snorkelling. A steel drum band play during the day, so you can listen to the music as you relax or play volleyball.

For a family adventure, visit Caylana’s Castle Grove, a floating aqua adventure park where you can enjoy many activities and challenges, including water slides and floating trampolines. You will also have the opportunity to climb a floating rock wall.

If you would prefer to have a day of relaxation rather than engaging in many of the water activities available, then you can rent yourself a beach mat and float in the beautiful sea or just enjoy a day of sunbathing on the beach. Whilst on the island, you may wish to try a Coco-Loco, the island’s signature drink. There are hammocks, so you are able to lay back and relax in the shade of the palm trees and enjoy the beautiful breeze.

Since the island can only be visited for the day, as part of a cruise, there is no nightlife, but you will at least have the chance to enjoy the beautiful sunset as you leave. For shopping, there is a straw market, which consists of small huts and shops where you can buy souvenirs and clothes.
