Guatemala is located in Central America, between the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. It shares borders with Mexico to the north and Belize to the northeast. This Tikal complex, most specifically the grand plaza section, is believed to have already been in its early stages of construction at the time when Christ walked the Earth. There are believed to be many more remains than just the Takal complex lying, undiscovered, in the jungle of thick vines and trees that blanket this area.
