Royal Caribbean makes dining more flexible

Royal Caribbean International is introducing new dining options in an effort to add flexibility for passengers.
There are two new options being offered called “My Time Dining” and the family friendly “My Family Time Dining.” Passengers will notice that the more traditional forms of dining will still be available as well.
With the My Time Dining options, passengers will be able to select the time that they wish to dine. All meals will still be served in the main dining room and passengers can make reservations or walk in when they are ready to be seated. Along with reserving a specific time to dine, passengers can also specify who they wish to dine with. Passengers will also be happy to know that they can request a specific waiter!
In order to participate in the My Time Dining programme, it will be necessary for passengers to register for the service. This can be done onboard or in advance of boarding through Royal Caribbean or the travel agent you chose to book the cruise through. Passengers should consider that gratuities would also need to be paid in advance for this service.
Several of Royal Caribbean’s ships will be offering the new flexible dining options so check their list to see if your upcoming cruise will be eligible. Passengers onboard the Independence of the Seas, which is now scheduled to remain in the UK year round starting in 2010, will definitely be able to participate in the My Time Dining programmes.
