Costa Cruises is offering a world cruise itinerary for the first time during the 2011 sailing season. Newly launched cruise ship, Costa Deliziosa, will depart on a world cruise in December of 2011. The world cruise is scheduled to last for 100 days. Passengers will be able to participate in the entire cruise, or they have the option to book one of the three segments of the cruise. Passengers interested in joining Costa Cruises for the entire duration of the world cruise can expect prices to start at £9,989.
Costa Cruises is also preparing for the arrival of its next ship in 2011. Costa Faovolsa is being built by Fincantieri at the shipbuilder’s Marghera shipyard. The maiden voyage of Costa Favolsa is expected to take place on the 7th of July. The sister ship of Costa Favolosa, Costa Fascinosa, is also expected to join the fleet in 2012.
The debut of Costa Cruises’ 2011 brochure comes nearly a full year before the cruises are set to take place. The early release of the brochure gives travellers time to take advantage of Costa Cruises’ ProntoPrice. This offering from the cruise line rewards passengers who book their cruises early with discounted fares.
In addition to a new world cruise and a new ship, Costa Cruises has announced several new itineraries in both the Mediterranean region and the Red Sea.
